At St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School, we are beaming with the light of Christ. Inspired by our patron saint, we are a community rooted in evangelization and outreach through service to a variety of communities both local and global. As a people of God, we are nourished through an active prayer life centered on weekly Mass and Eucharistic Adoration. It is being united to Christ in the Eucharist which gives us the strength to continue on our journey of faith while bringing joy to all we encounter.
Students attending our school between K-4th grade will encounter advanced catechists at every level who are passionate about sharing the beauty of our faith. Teachers facilitate the formation of a personal relationship with the Father, through His Son Jesus, and is enlivened by the Holy Spirit. Using techniques to engage young souls through all the senses, they are able to bring the faith alive and surround them with the love of God.
As the students move up through the grade levels, their faith is nourished in a new and exciting way. Our 5th-8th grade students are taught by dedicated theology specialists who build upon the foundations laid by our K-4 teachers. In these grades students are challenged to grow into active disciples through encountering many devotional practices, especially Lectio Divina (Sacred Reading), that allow them to reflect on the reality that we live, move and have our being in God (Acts 17:28). This will open them up to finding God’s vocation for their life. As 8th graders, students have the opportunity to complete their initiation into the faith by receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. In order to prepare them for this Sacrament, the students learn how to explain and share their faith with those they meet.
Here are St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School, our students will be given the opportunity to conform their lives to Christ (Rom 8:28-30) and to prepare themselves to run the race well (1 Cor. 9: 19-27) with our patron, St. Paul, as their guide.
