A.C.E. Program Philosophy

We, the St. Paul School Community, acknowledge parents as the primary educators of their children.

We believe it is our responsibility to assist parents in nurturing the social, academic, emotional, and spiritual growth of their children in a caring, learning environment, which encourages creativity and independent thought, responsibility for one's own learning, and respect for the rights of others to learn.



St. Paul After-School Care Program (A.C.E.) is designed to complement our school program by providing a safe and happy environment for school aged children during after school hours. Since the after school hours would otherwise be spent at home, this program will strive for a home type atmosphere. Children will be offered opportunities for physical activities, for play and socialization with other children, for creativity through arts and craft projects, for quiet time to read or work on homework.

We invite our students to celebrate their own uniqueness and the uniqueness of others and to join us in creating a community where the Catholic faith is lived daily.

The A.C.E. Program is available only to St. Paul students who are in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Children are enrolled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applicants in excess of program capacity are placed on the waiting list for one school year. Placement on the A.C.E. waitlist does not guarantee space in the after-school care program. Families must reapply every year. Please note, we have a three day minimum payment per week.
 

General Information

• The ACE program is available Monday-Friday 2:35-6:00pm.  
• When St. Paul school has 1:30 Early Dismissal Days, ACE is available from 1:30-5:00pm.
• When St. Paul School has 12:30  Early Dismissal Days, ACE is available from 12:30-4:00pm.
• When Saint Paul School is closed, ACE is closed. (i.e.) Snow Days, Holidays, etc.
• We will contact families from the ACE Waitlist by May 1st to fill any after-school openings.  Families will be on the ACE waitlist for one school year.
•  Calls to place your child’s name on waitlist begins March 1st @ 9:00 pm.  Call 614-882-2326 and follow the prompts.
• Registration Fee:  Collected once a year for Art & Craft Supplies
• ACE Tuition: To Be Announced
• Please note: We offer a 3 day minimum, 4 Day or 5 Day sign up
•  The children are grouped by grade levels (i.e.) K-3, 4-6
• The children K-6 will be interacting during various activities (i.e.) Recreation time and arts & crafts/ we adjust the recreation games based on the young children's ability level (i.e.) Kickball- younger children are placed closer to the pitcher and the rest of the group in the field moves back
• ACE is a State Licensed program through the Ohio Department of Education. We have a paid college staff with backgrounds in Education, coaching etc. to assist us with our  daily activities.

• One child: $45.00 per day
• Two children: $50.00 per day
• Three children: $60.00 per day
• ACE offers 5 days, 4 days or minimum of 3 days a week. Monday-Friday,  2:35-6:00pm during the school year.
