9th Annual 
“Just Believe” Walkathon

Get ready for our 9th Annual Walkathon!!! Last year’s Walkathon was so much fun and such a success that we will be doing it again this fall! It’s a great alternative to traditional fundraisers because it brings the students, staff and families together to be outside, have fun and raise money for our school! With the Walkathon, there will be no product to sell and all contributions are tax-deductible! Everyone in the school will be able to participate! The event is scheduled for Friday, October 13th. Our theme is “Just Believe In Yourself” which was inspired by a verse in Psalm 139 which reads, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made”.

All proceeds from the fall fundraiser go to support St. Paul School’s Parent Activity Committee (PAC), providing enrichment opportunities, scholarships, books, computers, etc. to the students of St. Paul School. If you know of an organization that may be interested in supporting our event, we are still looking for corporate sponsors, as well. Any donation, large or small, is greatly appreciated.

Christmas Bazaar

St. Paul’s Annual Deck the Halls Christmas Bazaar will be Saturday, November 18 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.Admission is $2.00.  Add us to your to-do list:  Start your holiday shopping with 100+ exhibitors; volunteer to support PAC; tour the newly renovated school; buy a raffle ticket to win beautiful items; eat lunch or get a tasty treat from the bake sale! Exhibitors will be in the Activity Center and Gym; lunch, bake sale and raffle tables will be in Miller Hall.  Thank you in advance for your patronage and support.  Donations of baked goods can be dropped off at the school office or the MPR kitchen on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18 .

Exhibitors Please Note:  The 2017 bazaar is no longer accepting vendors because we are full, however, many times there are last minute cancellations.  If  you would like to be on the waiting list to be called should there be a cancellation then please submit an on-line application.  The vendors on the wait list will be contacted in the order of their application. Form to apply is linked here.

Silent Auction

 

From the Silent Auction Chairs….
It’s time for the 20th St. Paul Silent Auction benefiting the kids! Over the years your support has
made it possible to update faith-based learning materials, keep our amazing teachers, and update technology.
All that and more comes from just one fun night and we can’t do it without you!
Your first opportunity to help the kids is the Silent Auction Wine Tasting at Aficionado’s on January 31st -
we will be sending out a link to get your tickets in the next week! Get your sitters lined up for a great night
out!
A Rendezvous on Bourbon Street is coming to the AC this March 21st! Keep an eye for the release of our
new website and back this year is the St. Charles Jazz Band!
The following teachers still need an Auction Rep to help facilitate making their classroom gift. This will require
a small amount of time in the classroom, sending emails to classroom parents, and heart! We can help
with the idea part!
3rd Grade - Mrs Shearn
We need all classroom projects by March 2.
We NEED parties! How to host an Auction Party in 8 easy steps:
1. Plan any type of party, activity or get-together for any number of adults, families or kids.
2 . Recruit your friends as co-hosts – it makes throwing the party much easier, and a lot more fun!
3 .Plan (with your co-hosts ) to cover all of the costs of the party as your contribution to the Auction .
4. Finalize your basic party info: how many guests, where/when.
5. Party submissions are due March 6th .
6. We’ll auction off admissions to your party during the Auction on March 21st! All proceeds will go to support
St. Paul Kids! You’ll be able to make a difference simply by asking for donations! If you can contribute in
any of the above areas just shoot us an email!

Spring Flower Sale

For all those with a green thumb who enjoy working in their flower beds, you won't want to miss this event. Spring Flower Sale brochures from Foertmeyer and Sons Greenhouse are sent home with the students each Spring -- and can provide some colorful ideas for your gardens.  Each school family is asked to return one order form instead of dividing orders among siblings. Apples for the Students

Each time you shop at Giant Eagle® using your Giant Eagle Advantage Card®, you earn points for your school – points they save and redeem for great educational tools. 8th Grade Washington D.C. Trip Fundraisers

Throughout the school year there are a variety of fundraising opportunities to help subsidize the annual 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. Information about these opportunities are made available to St. Paul School families as the events take place.

 

Market Day

Check out the Market Day website at www.marketday.com to find available items, specials, and promotions, as well as placing your order!  After registering on the Market Day website you will need to enter the St. Paul code...6688.   All orders are due the Friday before each sale. And remember, St. Paul students receive at least 10% of all orders placed!
