My Backpack

Holly Rose

Hello, my name is Mrs. Rose.
I have taught kindergarten at St. Paul’s since 1995.  I have also taught first and third grade at other Catholic schools in our Diocese. I am certified to teach preschool through grade eight. I graduated with a BS in Education from Ohio Dominican College. I have received a Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. I have also completed graduate course work at Otterbein College to achieve the endorsement of Reading Specialist. I have worked at Otterbein’s Reading Clinic. Prior to my teaching career I was employed at Kinder Care Learning Centers for five years. While there I held many roles as a preschool teacher, infant teacher and then staff trainer and member of the management team.
I have  been blessed with a daughter and son with my husband Greg.   Below is an introduction of me that is geared toward your child. I believe that St. Paul's School stands out as a place committed to putting God's love in action. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the St. Paul community, and I hope you and your kindergartner will feel the same. I look forward to nurturing your children as we explore God’s world.

Feel free to e-mail me with any questions or comments.

Introduction for Children:
Hello, my name is Mrs. Rose.
Kindergarten is a great place to be and lots of fun to teach. Some of my favorite things are reading books to the class and writing our own books together. We play at activity centers with all kinds of toys and games. We sing, cook and do lots of art projects. But what I love best about kindergarten is all the hugs I get everyday!
I look forward to learning more about you. Here is some information about me: I like to take walks, ride bikes, and do lots of reading and playing with my kids! My favorite hobby is taking pictures and making scrapbooks. My favorite food is tomatoes from the garden. My favorite color is pink. My favorite animals are bears and dolphins. I love Christmas time and collect gingerbread man items. You will get to tell me your favorites when school starts!
