Technology at St. Paul School

St. Paul School views technology as the means, not the mission.  We believe that technology should support the teaching and learning process, provide the tools for innovation, and address the needs of an ever changing society.

As Technology Instructors, Ms. Chris Wilhelm and Mrs. Colleen Tegeler, introduce students to a variety of applications such as keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheets, digital presentation programs and computer programming.  Students will become familiar with the Microsoft Office programs as well as Google Apps for Education Programs.

Technology Highlights

  • 6th, 7th and 8th grade students participate in a 1:1 Chromebook program.  Each student is issued a Chromebook to use during school hours as well as at home

  • 3 mobile carts with a classroom set of Chromebooks for grades 3-6

  • SmartBoard, an interactive whiteboard, and projection system in every classroom

  • A mobile iPad cart with 35 iPads available to all grade levels

  • 6 iPads in each kindergarten classroom

  • A computer lab comprised of 36 PC laptops

  • Document cameras to project classroom work

  • Digital video and still cameras

St. Paul students are fortunate to have many technological resources available to them and are expected to use them responsibly.  Each student must sign and agree to the Technology Acceptable Use Policy, found in the St. Paul School handbook.  We encourage you to discuss this with your children.
