Kelly Grote - Kindergarten (Room 111)

Mrs. Grote earned her degree from Otterbein College in 1985. She taught in schools in Kokomo, Indiana and in Mt. Vernon, Ohio before having her daughter. She came to St. Paul School in 1997 and taught first grade for five years. She then moved to kindergarten where she is currently teaching. kgrote@stpaulk-8.org

Miss Slomsky began her teaching career in 2013.  She received her Bachelor Degree as well as her Master Degree from The Ohio State University.  She is also a graduate of St. Paul Elementary School and is very excited to be teaching at her alma mater!  In her free time she teaches dance at Straub Dance Center and coaches cheerleading at St. Francis DeSales High School.  She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family. aslomsky@stpaulk-8.org
 

Kris Pinciotti - Grade 1 (Room 404)

Mrs. Pinciotti has been teaching since 1979 and came to St. Paul in 1987. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University. In addition to first grade, Mrs. Pinciotti has also taught kindergarten and third grade. kpinciotti@stpaulk-8.org
 

Julie Zucker - Grade 1 (Room 403 )

Mrs. Zucker began her teaching career at St. Paul School in 2012.  Prior to that she was the first grade.  She is a graduate of Cleveland State and in her free time she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family. jzucker@stpaulk-8.org

Laurie Schneider - Grade 2 (Room 210)

Mrs. Schneider began teaching at St. Paul in 2008. She is proud to say that she is a St. Paul School alumna and did her student teaching at St. Paul. Prior to teaching here, she taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade and 4th grades at St. James the Less School from 1990-2005. She is a graduate of Otterbein College and has a Master Degree from Ashland University. She loves spending time with her husband and her little red-headed daughter. Andrea Shearn - Grade 3 (Room 204)

Mrs. Shearn came to St. Paul in 2000 to start her teaching career. She is a graduate of Capital University and received her Master Degree in 2008 from Ashland University. She enjoys shopping and eating out with her husband and children.  ashearn@stpaulk-8.org

Debbie Valentine - Grade 4 (Room 207)

 Mrs. Valentine came to St. Paul  in 1998 where she has taugh both 3rd and 4th grades. She is currently teaching 4th Grade Math & Religion. She received her Bachelor Degree from The Ohio State University and in 2002 she received her Master Degree from Marygrove College.dvalentine@stpaulk-8.org

Kathy Gummer - Grade 5 & 6 (Room 110)

Mrs. Gummer has been teaching at St. Paul School since 2015. She received her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education and Master Degree in Elementary Education with a reading endorsement from the University of Toledo. She has experience in teaching fifth grade, first grade and as a reading tutor.  She enjoys building her faith and spending time with family. She also enjoys gardening, running and reading. She is currently teaching 5th & 6th grade Social Studies.

Margie Ford - Grades 7 & 8 (Room 606)

Mrs. Ford began her teaching career at St. Paul School in 1986. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has attended several other universities taking graduate courses. Marcine Power - Grades 7 & 8 (Room 603)

Mrs. Power has been teaching since 1980 and came to St. Paul in 1987 where she has taught 3rd, 6th, 7th and 8th grade. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and has taken several graduate courses. She is currently teaching fifth through eighth grade Math.  mpower@stpaulk-8.org

Saya Becker - Grade 8  (Room614)

Ms. Becker came to St. Paul in 2009.  She received her Bachelor Degree from The Ohio State University and her Master Degree from Otterbein University.  In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her children.  Ms. Becker is currently teaching 7th & 8th Grade Social Studies. sbecker@stpaulk-8.org

Candice Brown - Gr 7 & 8 (Rm 616)

Mrs. Brown came to St. Paul in 2010.  She received her Bachelor Degree from Otterbein College and her Master Degree from Baldwin-Wallace College.  She has previously taught at St. Patrick, Jesus and Mary, and St. Rocco schools all of which are in Cleveland.  In her spare time she enjoys Zumba classes, reading, traveling and baking.  She is currently teaching 8th Grade Language Arts.  cbrown@stpaulk-8.org

John Bryan - Grades K-3 Music  (Room 412)

Mr. Bryan began teaching in 1985 and came to St. Paul in 1996. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor Degree in Music Composition and earned his Master Degree in Music Education at Capital University. He has taken additional courses at Silver Lake College in Wisconsin, The Ohio State University, and the International Kodaly Institute in Kecskemet, Hungary. As Music Director for St. Paul Parish, Mr. Bryan conducts the Youth, Teen, and Adult choirs in addition to his responsibilities as principal organist.  jbryan@stpaulk-8.org

Nancy Beverage - Media Specialist  (Room 201)

Miss Beverage began her teaching career at St. Paul School in 1986. She is a graduate of Ohio Dominican University where she received her Bachelor Degree in Library Science. She then went on to earn her Master Degree in Library Science from Kent State University.  nbeverage@stpaulk-8.org

Betty Protz -Spanish (Room 615)

Mrs. Protz came to St. Paul in 2012. She previously taught in the Diocese of Cleveland at St. Mary and St. Anselm.  She earned her undergraduate degree in journalism for Cali, Colombia.  She  reveived her graduate degree form the University of Akron. In her free time she enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family.

Patty McCreary - Grades 5-8 Art  (Room 413)

Mrs. McCreary began her teaching career at St. Paul in 1987. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Bachelor Degree in Education. Dominick Mazza - Grades 5-8 Physical Education/Health  (Room 500)

Mr. Mazza began his teaching career at St. Paul in 2016. He attended Otterbein University and received a Bachelor Degree in Health Promotion and Fitness. He also received his licensure to teach Health and Physical Education in a Bachlor Plus program. In his free time he enjoys running, staying physically active, coaching, watching the Buckeyes and high school football, as well as spending time with family and friends.  dmazza@stpaulk-8.org

Casey Kochany - Grades K-4 Physical Education (Room 400)

Angie McPeak - Speech Pathologist

Mrs. McPeak is a Westerville City School Speech Pathologist who has been working with St.Paul students since 2010. She is a graduate of the University of Toledo where she received both her Bachelor and Master Degrees. Before coming to St. Paul she worked in an outpatient facility in Gahanna. She currently works at both St. Paul and Blendon Middle School. Mrs. McPeak provides speech and language services to students in grades k-8 who have difficulty with sound production, understanding and using language concepts as well as fluency. In her spare time Mrs. McPeak enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading and cheering on the Buckeyes.  mcpeaka@wcsoh.org

Angie Kuhn - Language Arts Instructor for STEM Program

Mrs. Kuhn began her teaching career in 1978 and came to St. Paul School in 1999. She is a graduate of Miami University and has taken graduate classes at The Ohio State University, University of Utah, and Ashland University. During her career she has taught junior high and high school Home Economics, junior high Health, Science, English, and Ohio History. Holly Rose - Kindergarten (Room 108)

Mrs. Rose earned her Bachelor Degre in Education from Ohio Dominican University and her Master Degree from Marygrove College.  In addition to teaching kindergarten she has also  taught first and third grade at other Catholic schools in our Diocese. Mrs.Rose has her Reading Specialist endorsement from Otterbein University and has worked at Otterbein's Reading Clinic.  Prior to her teaching career she was employed at Kinder Care Learning Centers for 5 years where she held many positions as a preschool teacher, infant teacher and then staff trainer and member of the management team. hrose@stpaulk-8.org

Michelle Posani - KIndergarten  (Room 105)

Miss Posani began her teaching career at St. Paul in 2009. She is a graduate of Ohio Dominican University where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. She is currently taking graduate classes from Humboldt State University.In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking, cooking and baking. mposani@stpaulk-8.org

Theresa Valentine - Grade 2 (Room 211)

Mrs. Valentine began teaching in 1992. Prior to coming to St. Paul in 2003, she taught at St. Michael and Jefferson Elementary. She has taught both first and second grades. Mary DeGenova - Grade 3 (Room 409B)

Lisa Renken - Grade 4 (Room 208)

Mrs. Renken came to St. Paul in 2012.  She began her teaching career in 1992 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She has taught 4th-8th grades at St. Vivian and 4th-6th Grades at Mercy Montessori.  She is a graduate of the University of Dayton.  In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. lrenken@stpaulk-8.org

Liz Ryan - Grade 4 (Room 206)

Mrs. Ryan is a graduate of University of Dayton with a Bachelor Degre in English. She then attended Ashland University in the Bachelor Plus program to obtain her teaching license. Rachel Berg- Grade 5 (Room 113)

Miss Berg started her teaching career at St. Paul School in 2016. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachlor Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is currently working on her Masters Degree in Reading Education. In her free time she enjoys arts and crafts as well as spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Sheumaker began her teaching career in 1996 after which she came to St. Paul in 1997. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she earned her Bachelor Degree and Master Degree. Gary Norris - Grades 7 & 8  (Room 612)

Mr. Norris began teaching at St. Paul in 2009. Prior to coming to St. Paul he was a Math teacher for 10 years followed by 15 years as a high school principal. He continued his administration career as an assistant superintendent for 3 years and a superintendent for 8 years. After moving to Westerville in 2008 he was an instructor at Columbus State University. He received his degrees from The Ohio State University and the University of Dayton. Maryan DeBrosse - Grades K-4 Art (Room 408) 

Mrs. DeBrosse came to St. Paul in 2009. She received her Bachlelor of Fine Arts degree from The Ohio State University and her Master of Fine Arts degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Miss Wilhelm began her teaching career in 1982 at St. Thomas Aquinas School in Zanesville, Ohio. She came to St. Paul School in 1987 where she has taught 7th, 8th and 3rd grades. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. She has taken graduate classes at Ashland University, Ohio University, University of Dayton, and Ohio Dominican University. Mrs. Tegeler began her teaching career here, at St. Paul, in 2000. She earned her Bachelor Degree from the University of Dayton. She earned her Master Degree from The Ohio State University. Mike Porretta - Band & Strings Instructor
(Room 602)

Mr. Porretta received his Bachelor Degree from Otterbein College and his Master Degree from The Ohio State University.

 He began teaching Band at St. Paul in 2007 and in 2010 added a Strings program to the schools list of electives. Before coming to St. Paul Mr. Porretta taught Band and General Music at Northridge High School, Riverview Jr. High, Centerburg High School, St. Francis DeSales High School. He also instructed the band program at St. Matthias, St. James and St. Anthony schools. Joe Carr - Guidance

As a School Guidance Counselor, Mr. Carr is involved in classroom guidance which covers such topics as testing skills, vocational interest, communication skills, anger management, and conflict resolution. He also does individual counseling which helps students with social skills, peer relationships, and emotional support in difficult situations. Guidance programs include Peer Mediation, Career Day, College Day and Parent to Parent Training. Mr. Carr has been a school counselor since 1988 and has been at St. Paul since 2002.  carrj@wcsoh.org

Betsy Johnson - School Nurse

Mrs. Johnson came to St. Paul School in 1996. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing at the Ohio State University. Her school nurse certification and doctoral studies were also at the Ohio State University. She has over 30 years of extensive and diverse nursing experience that includes university faculty positions. Laurie Locke - Reading Intervention Specialist

Mrs. Locke works with students in first through third grades helping them improve their reading skills. The students receive services five days a week for thirty minutes each day. The students work in a small group setting.As an employee of Westerville City Schools, Mrs. Locke has been teaching at St. Paul School since 1980. She received her Bachelor Degree in 1980 from Capital University and earned her Master Degree in 2002 from Marygrove College. She is certified in the areas of Elementary Education, Reading, and Specific Learning Disabled.  lockel@wcsoh.org

    Mrs. Lloyd came to St. Paul in 2015 as an intervention specialist. She         received her Bachlor Degree from Miami University and her Master             Degree in Counseling from the University of Dayton. She also has a
